Order acceptance

After placing an order you will receive a confirmation email. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy the product(s) by sending you an email which confirms that the order has been dispatched. All orders are subject to availability. Any errors caused by system malfunction or human error on our part will be promptly refunded.

Dispatch policy

While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Goods are normally dispatched within 7 days. If we are unable to despatch your order within 14 days, we will contact you by e-mail with an estimated despatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order.

Delivery costs

Delivery and shipping costs vary depending on the item, and destination. Please see basket for shipping costs to mainland UK. This is usually £5.95 for all orders under £100.

For non-mainland UK, or overseas please contact us at [email protected] or phone us first. We ship worldwide, though prices vary depending on the product and destination.

Prices and tax

The item price shown for the goods does not include postage and packing. However, standard UK shipping is free on most artworks above £100. Any additional UK shipping costs are added at the checkout stage. The price you pay will include VAT for all deliveries within the UK.

Lux Gallery Ltd’s VAT number is 436 3870 79.

All photography services and certain artworks are inclusive of standard rate VAT. Some specific artworks are subject to the ‘VAT margin scheme’. If you require a breakdown of VAT on specific artworks, please contact us.

Cancellations and returns

If you are not satisfied with the goods or have changed your mind you have the right to cancel within seven days of the contract, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer), return the goods and receive either a full refund of your monies or replacement goods. Please send an e-mail to us before you return goods, telling us that you are returning the goods and why. For further details see our Returns Policy.


The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.


All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.


You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.


The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
