Lisa Slinn

Having trained as a professional designer in tableware, Lisa had a studio at the famous Middleport Pottery in Stoke On Trent. After selling her work for many years in the UK and France, she has decided to explore her design background further within the practice of modelage.

Living in a blended family with five daughters she has witnessed the pressures that society places upon all women to be beautiful in a singular way. The female body seen through a marketing and social media gaze doesn’t celebrate the reality of a woman’s curves and changing shape; the flux of an aging body.

Lisa’s models express both strength and power through their stance, and bold defiance against the standardised images that society glorifies as conventional beauty in the 21st Century.
