Milan Illustrator

Milan’s process involves hand-drawing an initial design followed by a careful, digital editing process working an initial sketch up to a tightly detailed illustration, taking around 50 hours to complete. Often hiding familiar characters within illustrations, inspiration comes from vintage travel posters and romanticised winter graphics. He enjoys producing engaging designs which combine history and light-hearted picture-book scenes with charming, characterful details.

Milan has experience producing large-scale, digitally illustrated murals and window displays. Milan has illustrated maps, guides and festival branding for Camping and Caravanning Magazine, National Trust and the University of Birmingham, capturing nostalgic imagery in a modern and colourful illustrative style.
