We are delighted to now be a member of the Own Art Scheme.

The scheme allows buyers to purchase art works and pay for them over 10 months – completely interest free.

The process usually takes less than 10 minutes and can be done in the gallery, or we can send you a link to complete at home.

Eligible Items

The Own Art Scheme is available on eligible items only. Eligible items are original one-off artworks between £100 and £25,000. This can include sculptures, ceramics, glass and paintings. Prints can also be eligible as long as they are not reproduction prints, and are created in editions not exceeding 150. Reproduction works are not eligible.

What is the Own Art scheme?

The scheme is a national initiative that makes buying contemporary art and craft affordable by letting you spread the cost of your purchase over 10 months with an interest free loan.

Who runs the scheme?

The scheme is an Arts Council England initiative operated by Creative Sector Services CIC, a Community Interest Company, in partnership with Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and credit provider Novuna.

How does it work?

The loan is processed in the gallery at the time of purchase, or you can be sent a link to complete at home. Each loan application is subject to a credit check. If your application is successful you are free to take your artwork home to enjoy that day. Alternatively it can be processed over the telephone and via email.
