Big news!!

After 3 very happy years at no.13 Greenfield Crescent in Edgbaston Village, Lux Gallery are moving! But don’t worry, we’re not going far.

On Saturday 13th July Lux will be closing their current premises and moving across the road to no.8 (next to the Village Kitchen sandwich shop).

This change will bring a new space, new energy, new artworks and a brand new chapter to the Lux Gallery story. We will be reopening with a ‘relaunch’ exhibition featuring some brand new artists and some customer favourites. If you want to stay in the loop about opening times, address and new pieces, please sign up to our mailing list below

Please note: Our website shop and home consultation services will be still be running whilst we are moving. If you wish to pay us a visit, please get in touch to make an appointment

Lux director Owen de Visser has said it has been “touch and go” whether we continued our journey in Edgbaston Village, and “we are delighted that Calthorpe Estates have offered us a new space as our current lease expired.”

The new space is slightly larger, with the gallery area split into 2 separate rooms, and has a double-facing window, which is great for grabbing people’s attention and displaying more art to be visible from the street. Our photo studio will be located in the rear room.

Owen says “I am especially excited to start our new premises with some brand artworks, and welcome some new artists to the gallery”

Lux Gallery have already agreed to showcase works by some superb and very collectable artists, including some fantastic local talent. We cannot wait to welcome to upon our relaunch
