Ric Duffield is a renowned wildlife artist whose captivating and lifelike depictions of the natural world have earned him a distinguished place in the realm of wildlife art.

Born in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, with a deep passion for nature and a keen eye for detail, Duffield was drawing or painting wildlife from a very early age, and has spent a lifetime translating his love for the wilderness into breath-taking works of art that inspire and educate.

In 2000, Ric became a freelance artist, and while still exhibiting fine art in galleries across the country, he became renowned for his scenic work, using techniques and specialist knowledge to replicate images large and small with intricate detail. He also specialises in marbling, ageing, optical illusions and much more.

Over the years, Ric Duffield’s talent and dedication have garnered him numerous accolades and exhibitions worldwide. His works are found in both private collections as well as a range of museums including the Royal Armouries, National Railway Museum, Tower of London, and Castle Museum in York.
