Joanna Monika Grochot
Joanna Monika Grochot was born in Krakow, south of Poland. From a very young age she was always interested in various forms of art. After completing her degree in Visual Art specialising in artistic weaving, Joanna decided to pursue canvas painting. Currently, her main medium is epoxy resin, which gives Joanna unlimited possibilities for creative expression.
Joanna’s goal is not only to stimulate the senses and evoke various associations in the viewer, but also to encourage reflection and creative thinking.
Joanna would like to invite you on a journey to her world of colours, forms, and shapes. Her works contain many secrets and hidden meanings that are worth discovering and experiencing. For Joanna, it is not just a form of artistic expression, but also a kind of challenge and struggle with the material, as the resin dictates its own rules and direction.
Colour, harmony, and balance are particularly important to Joanna in her work, as they translate into the emotions she wants to evoke in the viewer. Although her work is abstract, Joanna believes that every painting that comes to life in her studio contains a theme, message, or emotion that she wishes to convey to the viewer.
