Adina Potop

Adina Potop is a creator of abstract figurative art based in Romania. Her academic formation is one of a philologist, therefore her paintings are profoundly infused with poetry.

Potop’s explorations revolve around themes of identity, growth and transformation. Through vibrant layers, bold textures and fluid movements, her work captures the beauty of becoming, the tension between who we are and who we are meant to be.

Adina says of her work, “My art is an extension of my body. Each piece carries the rhythm of my heartbeat and the endless curiosity of a child at play. From my studio by the Black Sea, I create paintings that are not just seen, but felt. My process is mostly intuitive, experimental and deeply rooted in the narrative of transformation.”
