‘The Concrete Scream’ (Das Fundament) is an original humorous artwork by German artist Theresa Franziska Jaenisch.

Each of Theresa’s unique paintings have a story behind the characters, written on the back of the work. The story for this artwork follows:

Editor Elisabeth Lammerhirt sinks into the freshly poured concrete, in her expensive polyester trench coat. Unfortunately, the workmen are all currently off duty. A passer-by with red children’s trousers on their head hastily leaves the scene. No one is willing to help!
