‘The Apple Allergy ‘ is an original humorous artwork by German artist Theresa Franziska Jaenisch.

Each of Theresa’s unique paintings have a story behind the characters, written on the back of the work. The story for this artwork follows:

Minerva often has strange allergic reactions. She is often subjected to state-of-the-art testing methods. Every allergy is meticulously tested on her in the lab. On this occasion, Minerva has to smell an apple for four hours with pesticides on it. This is the only definitive test. Will she get pustules and hives on her face?
