Purple Agate Apple
Theresa Franziska Jaenisch
‘Purple Agate Apple’ is an original humorous artwork by German artist Theresa Franziska Jaenisch, inspired by the story of Adam And Eve
Each of Theresa’s unique paintings have a story behind the characters, written on the back of the work. The story for this artwork follows:
The Purple Agate Apple is a small, round, and evenly-shaped dessert apple with a frosty skin. The apple has a distinctive intense red (purple) colour and is clearly striped. Unfortunately, the product we purchased tasted woody, mealy, and was worm-eaten. Thankfully, Adam still had the receipt, so we were able to return the apple, and thus avoid leaving paradise.
Acrylic on canvas board. 40x50cm (46x56cm framed)
