This particular handmade coin is for Persian New Year celebrating the pomegranate and what this beautiful fruit symbolises for the year ahead. Celebrating Nowroz with a symbol that we can hold on to and take us into spring with hope and strength.

I have chosen the word Fertility because pomegranate’s known as anar in Farsi, are a symbol of life and fertility owing to their many seeds. This springs festival focuses on both these things, it’s a perfect time to start new projects, access new ideas and give birth to new ways of thinking. This is opportune time to make life changes.
