Technology from space travel, surveillance, information tracking, computers, phones, Clouds, Internet, geographical tracking and integrated systems all depend upon the heavy reliance of technology where there is a forever increasing fear of ingenious cyber- attack to corporate and personal data which, may be out of our full ability to control and understand.
The archaic lighthouse represents an outdated navigation system that guides humankind into the galaxy and beyond. Steadfast, dependable and reliable, this basic, near obsolete but functional metaphor remains consistent and trustworthy in amongst a world of new and very sophisticated technology.
