The famous Alpha Tower original painting is now on our wall at Lux. The piece took 6 months to complete, and is a masterpiece of patience and perfection. Created using acrylic on MDF board, giving a precise almost-digital perfection, Elliott meticulously created this work from various photographic visits to the tower, and a lot of precisely measured layers.
This piece weighs almost 20kg and measures 124cm across. Fans of Birmingham’s history, development and modern architecture will love this one-of-a-kind piece.
